The addition of a Powerprobe 9700 VTR PRO to our inventory of drill rigs has made us more versatile in serving our customers needs. The track mounted 9700 VTR PRO allows us to access sites that would be impossible to reach with a truck mounted Powerprobe. Now there’s a direct push answer to sites that have difficult access issues.

The new Powerprobe 9700 VTR PRO has all the same great qualities you would expect from Profile Drilling and Powerprobe.
The major difference is that it is mounted on caterpillar tracks. This allows us the get the Powerprobe exactly where you need it. Through mud, snow, unconsolidated materials, indoors, and sensitive areas grass. The Caterpillar tracks are rubber so it won’t harm asphalt, concrete or grassed areas.
The powerful Powerprobe 9700 VTR PRO is able to utilize a wide variety of samplers from 2 3/8” dual tubes with 1.1/2” liner to 3 ½” dual tubes with 2.3/4” liners. All Profile Drilling liners are made of PVC which eliminates any cross contamination.
The Powerprobe VTR PRO, like its truck mount siblings, has a high torque auger head. It is rated at 5000 ft/lbs of force with two speed settings of 200PRM and 100 RPM. This auger has more than enough power to spin 4.25” ID hollow stem augers which is needed to properly install a 2” monitor to MOE regulations.
